American City Flag Survey Results →

So here’s a thing that exists, the North American Vexillological Association (vexillology is the scholarly study of flags) ranked the flags of 150 American cities, with DC coming out on top. Its based on the coat of arms of George Washington. Its a pretty badass flag.

Chicago is second, also a bad ass flag. The blue lines represent the water, the river and the lake, and the four stars represent four moments in Chicago’s history.

But third place? Denver! I had no idea how awesome their flag is.
