JJ Abrams’ Action Movie app is pretty great.
Introducing iOpener, an iPhone case that doubles as the world’s most technologically advanced bottle opener, available now.
It’s the perfect way to introduce Dad to the world of Facebook and Twitter: through beer. On the surface, it just looks like a carbon fiber iPhone case that happens to have a bottle opener grafted onto it—and really, that’s what it is. (Unless he’s got Angry Birds.)
But when the time comes to commemorate your drink in social media form, you can show him the corresponding app, BevConX. (Really. That’s the name.) It notices every time either of you opens a beer (you’ll be borrowing the phone a lot), then asks what you’re drinking and lets you immortalize your choice of brew with a tweet or Facebook post—bringing your dad gloriously into the 21st century.
"That’s it. I’m done. With life. (via leilacohanmiccio)
Maybe its called an iOpener because you’re supposed to shove it in your eye so you never have to see anything as useless as this ever again.
Yup, time to get that Motorola RAZR… Obviously, I live in New York, and I’ve been to Chicago, Indianapolis, Winston-Salem, New Jersey and Washington DC since I’ve gotten this phone. I must drown it.
I haven’t done this yet, but I suspect it’ll scare me into throwing my iPhone into a body of water, and buying a Motorola RAZR v3.
I’ve been checking out String’s AR Showcase app on my iPhone. How did I not hear about this sooner? Print out a picture from the website, fire up the app, and kiss your productivity goodbye.

Basically.
July 3rd was a weird day for me and Wikipedia.
While up in Chicago, a bunch of my iPhone owning buddies picked up Shake-It, the fauxlaroid iPhone app developed by Grey Scale Gorilla’s Nick Campbell. Its the first app I actually purchased, and at 99¢ it certainly isn’t that much to ask for a decent photo app. Anyway, if you have an iPhone, and feel like plopping down your hard earned dough to improve one of the more lacking features of your over priced toy, I recommend Shake-It for all your fauxlaroid picture taking needs.
iPhone Emojis are the best, you guys!
